Thessaloniki metro works to resume early January, says Transport Min Spirtzis
The works for the Thessaloniki metro, which had been interrupted, will resume in the first ten days of the next year, Transport Minister Christos Spirtzis said on Tuesday in statements to Praktorio 104.9 FM.
"We estimate that the works will resume in the first ten days of January, 2016," he said.
He added that the first phase of the project will have been completed by March 2017 and the metro will be accessible in the first half of 2020.
