Main opposition criticises government over withdrawn economic bill
New Democracy’s interim president Yiannis Plakiotakis said on Thursday Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras should confesss his inability to govern, after the government withdrew its parallel economic program bill from parliament.

“He [Tsipras] should confess his inability to govern and take initiatives to overcome the country’s political problem,” Plakiotakis said in a statement released by the party.

“The withdrawal of the bill on the ‘parallel program’ proves once more that everything Mr. Tsipras and his government officials said in the previous period was meaningless and for domestic consumption. The government’s shipwreck today convinces even the most skeptical that Mr. Tsipras’ treasure was carbons,” he added.
