Nestle Hellas plans 10-mln-euro investment plan in Greece in 2016

Nestle Hellas on Friday announced a 10-million-euros investment plan for 2016, including an 8.5 million euros investment in its coffee production unit in Inofyta scheduled to be completed in 2017, Aggeliki Papadopoulou, corporate affairs director in Nestle Hellas told reporters.

Papadopoulou said the company confirmed the continuation of its presence in Greece by investing both in actions of creating mutual benefit and in its core business activities such as coffee and ice cream and added that the company continued growing dynamically despite the crisis and adverse economic conditions, while the imposition of capital controls did not affect its production procedure. She noted that there has never been an issue of the company's presence in Greece.

Nestle Hellas has already hired 272 young people in the framework of an pan-European initiative Nestle needs YOUth and supports young people in the beginning of their career.
